Mr. Russell's Business Classes held their semesterly EMPOWERED auction. As part of the course progression students earn Empowered Bucks for participation in activities. They then use those to bid on items. Items of focus were Korean and Japanese snacks, aloe socks & blankets

This weekend was the Outhouse Tours at Elk Falls where our Elk Valley Senior Class held a fundraising booth!
Mrs. Roach’s Kindergarten science class took advantage of the beautiful weather last week and explored the relationship between animals’ needs and the places they live. They built a nest with naturally found items in our schoolyard. This week they will continue their exploration by moving into biogeology and how animals can change their environment. Mrs. Roach's middle school science celebrated Halloween with a dry ice potions lab that explored changes in particle motion, temperature, and state of a pure substance when thermal energy is added or removed. We also looked at density by testing dry ice in various liquids.
There will be NO eSports After School Program until further notice. ESports Varsity and JV team members will be allowed to practice and compete as normal. Students who are not actively on the V or JV teams can go to regular After School Program or must go home after school. The eSports program can resume once the missing Nintendo Switch controller is returned.
FFA was off very early today for the FFA National Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana! They are in for a long week of learning and special activities.
