Pre-K had Emma Arbuckle 2023 Runner-Up Junior Miss Agriculture visit last week to read The Little Regenerative Farmer.

We had to get a little creative with our Pumpkin Patch trip for our Kindergarten/1st grade students who were devastated that their big day got rained out. We improvised by going to Independence Park and Zoo then stopped by Independence Walmart on the way back to school for some pumpkin "picking." Thank you Independence Walmart for the contribution towards our pumpkins!

Such a fun day at Elk Valley! Students who did not attend the musical at ESU spent the day rotating through some educational and challenging activities! Students experienced the do's and don'ts of caramelizing sugar, fun new techniques for baking cookies, challenged each other in duos during eSports activities, experienced acoustic and electric guitars, and built catapults.

Elk Valley MS & HS Students attended a matinee performance on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, of the

Happy National School Lunch Week (October 9-13)!
Every day, about 30 million students across the nation receive a healthy school lunch. School meals are planned to be consistent with the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, the national recommendations based on the latest nutrition science. We celebrate the many ways school lunches are offered using continued creativity and innovation. These efforts level up nutrition and ensure kids have the healthy fuel they need to learn and grow.
We want to thank our school nutrition professionals nationwide for your commitment to ensuring children are well-nourished and ready to succeed in school! Thank you for your hard work and dedication each and every day!
